Old me: a persxn who held socially conditioned beliefs and was educated to support hierarchy, patriarchy, and rules.

Now me: a connected soul who engages in nature-based, interculturally-inspired, empowering practice for individuals who want to journey towards wellness and freedom.

What does my motto mean?

Nourish the Soul.

To nourish my own soul has meant a life-long pursuit of knowledge through a love of books, travel, and humxn experiences. Too often in our overly scheduled and always connected society, our minds try to rule, only to create a world of drama and suffering. Through my own journey and suffering, I learned the importance of breaking those patterns and reconnecting to a life worth living based on each individual soul.

Cultivate the Soil.

We are the gardeners – the watchers – of our minds. To cultivate a garden means to remove weeds and loosen the soil to ensure air, water, and nutrients can penetrate and not just run off. When we cultivate the gardens of our minds, we can be tender with ourselves and our thoughts by approaching them with curiosity and compassion. We work to identify them, name them, and develop strategies for weeding them out and letting go of what no longer serves our best interests.

Heal the Earth.

When we restore ourselves to purpose and passion, we can restore balance within ourselves and thereby the universe. When each of us starts to self-heal and remove suffering, we can spread well-being to other people and to the Earth. Through this framework, I use Mother Nature as a collaborator to support the inward journey and to support people connecting to the natural world, whether that be through walking, hiking, sitting, meditating, or visualizing nature and her lessons.

How my motto manifests

I approach our work together, be it one-on-one or in small groups, from an intercultural, intersectional framework that honors your experiences, culture, and desires. I incorporate various frameworks, modalities, and tools based on your needs and how best to support your goals. These may include:

  • Mind body connection: breath work, yoga, guided meditation, individual meditation coaching, journaling

  • Eco-coaching: walking or hiking, gardening therapy and other nature based activities

  • Traditional life coaching work on parenting, professional support, relationships, and personal interests

  • Executive coaching and consulting for individuals in higher education as administrators, faculty, or professionals

  • Smash the Patriarchy framework: limiting beliefs and patterns, socialization, and expectations that grow out of oppressive systems
