Resilience is evolving in response to the changing environment

Resilience is about how we adapt and transform in response to the environment and what’s around us. Having a resilient business means evolving in response to the changing environment. The nature of my work evolves in response to the needs of my clients and community.

In applying my own resilience framework to myself and my business, I have been reflecting on this question this year:

How am I, both as a human and a business, adapting and transforming myself and my community in ways that are regenerative and mutually beneficial?

One answer is clear: In a world of rapid inflation, it’s time to adjust my prices. But maybe not how you think. Effective July 1, 2024, I am reducing the cost of my mentorship coaching 1:1 package and will create more sliding-scale options for group coaching and workshops. I feel an embodied ‘hell yeah’ in making these shifts to open up access and support.

Here’s what I’m doing:

  • Reducing the total investment amount across all mentorship coaching packages by over 20% effective immediately. Click here to see the new pricing.

  • Opening two scholarship spots for mentorship coaching. I'll roll out a process later in 2024.

  • Continuing to bolster my client community program with our twice-monthly sessions, as community is a critical component of our work together. Just ask any current or previous client.

  • Creating sliding scale pricing for my group coaching programs (Reclaim You and Creativity Lab) and workshops, in order to increase accessibility and create scholarship opportunities.

  • Highlighting my Aligned Action Intensives for folks interested in shorter, targeted work.

Community Teaches Me How to Build a Regenerative Business

So much has changed over the five years of growing this work. My work has evolved into an ecosystem with three interconnected components:

  • The individual level for transformation with mentorship coaching

  • The team level for resilient organizations with consulting and training

  • The community level for climate resilience with Embodied Climate Action

When I first ‘opened’ in 2019, I worked full time in academia honing my skill set as a coach and solo-prenure on the side. When I left higher education in 2021 to expand this work full-time, my work was focused on 1:1 clients. As my work has evolved, I now spend about half of my time working with institutions and organizations, too. I am still growing my community climate work because that work matters and its urgency will only increase.

Given the impacts of late-stage capitalism, I aim to build a regenerative business where my values are integrated throughout my life and work. Through that expansion, I have been consulting with nonprofits and education as well as corporate teams and organizations. This expansion helps support the community work I do around Embodied Climate Action. It’s all so interconnected.

These expansions have shown, without a doubt, how important the work we do together on an individual level must be paired with community. I witness the critical importance and urgency of holding communal and transformative spaces for you all and myself. It is an honor to do this work and that requires it to be accessible for others.

I am forever grateful to all my clients over these last years who have collaborated with me on their transformations. You have shown me the true value of this work we do together. You have helped me build this body of work that feels like I get to crack open a new layer of my own creative cocoon over and over.

Thank you!

I look forward to our renewed and continued work together. Regenerative business is about lasting relationships that evolve!
